Feel The Burn
Yesterday I got to work on revisions of Highland Dawn. I have to admit, I cried while writing this book. Several times, in fact.
So, as I'm reading the mss instead of shutting down emails, I left them on. And got my edits for Highland Dawn. Fortunately, the edits aren't that bad, but so much for me finishing HD and sending it in by the end of the week. :S Keep your fingers crossed I get my cover very soon. The Mystic Castle is featuring me for the month of August and I've begged for the cover to be sent in time. Let's hope they give in to my request.
I did have a very cute moment last night when I was doing my pilates and my nearly four year old son got on the floor with me and began to excersise. I was laughing so hard I couldn't do as the instructor on the DVD said.
Then, my son looks at me and said, "Momma, you're supposed to be doing as the wady said. Wift your weg and feel it pull."
I had to bite my tongue to keep from laughing once again since he was so serious. And just to be sure I was doing the excerise, he sat beside me, keeping his hand on my leg to tell me when to lift and when to lower. :)
Ah, kids can be so darn cute at times that I could just eat 'em up.
