One Down
Amazingly enough, I finished my revisions of A Dark Seduction yesterday. And yes, I did celebrate. :) This book had more revisions than I had expected, which is why it took me so long to get it done. Now, I'm going to write up a short synopsis and a blurb for the website to match what I did for the first two Shield books. Then, I'm sending it on to my editor.
Which leaves me only four days to revise Highland Fires. I did pull it up and start reading it yesterday. I have to say, I really like this book. There is something about the hero that really pulls at me. I just hope the readers feel the same way. I don't think the revisions should be as difficult as ADS, at least I hope they aren't.
Next month, I start writing A Forbidden Temptation, the fourth in the Shield series. I hadn't expected to start on Val's story so soon, but this Roman was adamant that it was time for his story. What was I to do? :)
Off to do more revisions before swim practice!

Congrats on finishing the revisions. I love it when you fall in love with your own writing - it makes the process so much easier!
Thanks, Kelly. And you're right, it does make the process easier - until you start the next one. :D
