A Little About Me

Since I've gotten a few emails asking for more information about me, I thought I'd use today for that.

* When I was in high school my father had to secure a block of wood to the accelerator of my truck so I could reach the peddle.

* I also had to sit on my books so I could see better over the steering wheel.

* I can't get into bed if all the lights are off. You never know what might try to get you while you're climbing into bed.

* I hate touching raw chicken. Gives me the creeps.

* I collect swords and pewter fairies

* I love men in kilts

* I would decorate my entire house in plaids if I could

* I used to be a bookkeeper

* I was married on the Day of the Dead

* I used to hang on my monkey bars as a kid so that I might actually reach 5' (never happened)

* I have a very real fear of spiders. Don't even show me a fake one. You don't want to see what happens

* I once had a snake start to crawl up my leg - needless to say, I don't care much for snakes

* My favorite flowers are tulips and calla lilies

* I love dragonflies

* I listen to music when I write - Celtic music, Lord of the Rings and King Arthur soundtracks

* After 11 years together I finally got my husband to shed his clothes in our room instead of throughout the house. Guess it will take another 11 before I get him to put them in the dirty clothes instead of on the floor/bed.
