Favorite Authors
Yesterday I asked who was your all time favorite author, and there were some great answers.
After I asked that question, it led to several more questions. Today, I'd like to focus on just one.
What about your favorite author has you going back to them again and again?

It is hard to explain why for some of my faves.
I love Julie Garwood's historicals and the wonderful characters that she writes.
I love Julia Quinn's humor and wit. Her books are fun to read.
I understand, Jennifer. For me, Johanna Lindsey is a favorite because she was my first read.
I love how Elizabeth Lowell writes her historicals. Really pulls me in.
With K.M. Moning, its those dang sexy Highlanders. They get me every time. :)
The story is researched and written well.
Donna, that is probably one of the reasons I like Garwood so much...she wrote my first romance.
I'd have to say what keeps me coming back is the voice and the characters. Something about how they tell the story and the people they create that crawl into your subconscious just keep me going back to relive the experience.
Wow. Great answers everyone. :)
I love Laura Kinsale and Judith Ivory for their emotional complexity and depth. Things aren't always so straightforward in their stories, and I really like that. For me, that's what makes the stories seem so "real".
