Favorite Heroines
As much as I love reading and as many favorite authors as I have, there are very few heroines that stick out in my mind and stay with me so that I even recall their name without having to go look at the book.
Gillian in Ransom from Julie Garwood
Megan in Man of My Dreams by Johanna Lindsey
Amber in Forbidden by Elizabeth Lowell
Maybe its because I love these authors so much, but of all the books I've read of theirs, these are the heroines I remember. There was something about the books that struck a cord in me, and even years later, I can still tell you about the story, about the heartache and the love the heroine experiences.
Do you have heroines you remember?

Rosie Mulvehey in Maggie Osborne's The Wives of Bowie Stone. Not too often you see a heroine who's a drunk. She was an original.
Penelope in Romancing Mr. Bridgerton was good, Jennifer. :)
Oh, wow, Kelly. I think I might have to go out and find this book. A drunk heroine? Sounds very interesting.
