Whew!

Well, I've loaded everything into my Jeep and I'm about to head to FedEx to ship it. Three, possibly four, boxes. Big boxes at that. :S Now that I'm about to get everything but my packing done, I'm starting to relax a little.

Which let me unwind and get to work on Highland Fires. The hero had been sulking a little that I had pushed him to the back to get ready for RT. I tried to explain to him that unless I found some more readers, no one would care about his story. And just like a guy, he didn't understand a woman's logic.

Fortunately for me, he got over his little pique and the story flowed very well yesterday. Instead of finishing before I left for RT, I won't finish the story until the end of May. Who knew it would take so long to get everything ready for RT. Next year I'll know better and do more several months in advance.

Don't forget that today is your last day to respond to the blog to be entered to win Robin T. Popp's Out of the Night vampire romance. These aren't your normal vampires, either. :)

Glad you've got your boxes shipped, D. Pack shorts and t's. It's hot in FL. Spoke to my Mom's neighbor and he told me it was hot as hell and they weren't getting any rain. I hope the humidity isn't bad. He said it wasn't but that can change. I wish I was relaxed! I have stuff to do and here I sit typing away on blogs. LOL!

Men, can't live with 'um....

Yeah, where I live, the weather is much the same way. We've already hit 90 and its only May. Its going to be a scorcher this year for sure. :S

I have loads of stuff to do as well, but I'm relaxing since I know how the rest of my day/night are going to be. :S

Well, I just couldn't help myself. I'm back. I love Texas. That's where my Daddy was born. We lived in Lubbock for a long time. I went to Texas Tech. I remember the dust storms and the statue of Buddy Holly fondly. *g* I have really good memories from there. *weg*
