And The Stress Begins
Ever have that dream where you're going somewhere important and its imperative that you have EVERYTHING you need? But then you get there and the most important item that you had to have isn't with you?
Well, that's my nightmare. I've made my list for RT. You should see it. The list is huge. Even my husband shook his head at everything I need to bring. And this isn't including clothes or costumes. Thanks to be being as organized as I am - or anal as my husband like to call me - I have my list, I check off each item as I gather it, then I mark it off once it goes into the box to ship. And I check that list daily to make sure I didn't leave something off. Now, I just pray that I don't forget anything. :S
The good side is that now that I have my new cover, I'll have both to display at RT. I'll also get to celebrate the release of Highland Nights while at RT since it releases on May 19th.
Some have asked about The Shield series. I haven't yet heard anything on this series, though I have been told by my editor it will be soon. I love this series. The heroes are just so yummy!
OK. I must go check that list again and try to get some pages written today. :)

D, as long as you get there safely that's all that matters. If you forget something you can always buy it and I'll be in Orlando if you need help. Only an hour away. You want my cell number? Don't stress. You'll be fine.
I don't have that dream but I do have the one where I'm trying to use a phone and I can't dial the numbers or the line won't go through, etc.
I got a newsletter from Robin this am. Haven't read the whole thing but I saw where she says she'll be in Daytona.
Hmmm...looking forward to hearing more about THE SHIELD series.
Still sweatin' over the cover for HIGHLAND NIGHTS. *g*
Hi, doll! I'm not worried about toothpaste or such, its the promo stuff or my baskets. :S If need be, I'll have to have my hubby FedEx it to me.
Ah, The Shield series has been such a blast to write. I've written three of the five and can't wait to finish them.
lol. yeah, that cover sure is hot!
LOL! Thank God for FedEx, eh? Well, my offer still stands if ya need help.
Damn woman! You write too fast. *g*
I just may take you up on that offer, doll. :)
Donna, you sound like you are very organized! I don't think you will forget anything! lol I'll be thinking about you and Mel and how much fun
you are having! Maybe someday I will be able to attend!
You're a good friend, D. *wink*
Carol, throw caution to the wind and go with me! You know I'll be thinking about you, too. *g*
I would love to, Mel! Maybe someday I'll be able to do that!
This time you have an extra good time for me! :)
Ok, it still wouldn't let me sign in. I definatly know what you mean about making a list before packing. I've done that since I was little. I can usually manage to get everything that I need for the trip to my destination, but getting it back home is another story. So it seems that on Friday, it may be kind of late before I get back. Her surgery is at 2:30 in Houston, so there's no telling how long its going to take. I hope I can make it! I'd hate for yall to have all of the fun without me! Well, see ya later :)

lmao, Kim! Oh, now that's a good story. :)
I try to be organized, Carol. With three kids (and that's including my husband (vbg)) someone has to be. :)
Hey, Robyn! No problem. Gillian has a bday party to go to that night, so not sure how much partying we'll be doing. :)
