It Draws Near...

It looks like we just might be able to move back in to our house next week. We've been gone for four weeks, and we're all anxious to return.

I cringe at all the cleaning I'm going to have to do. Not to mention I have to restock the fridge and freezer. And the yard. Yuck. You should see it. Huge limbs and debris everywhere, and we can't forget the two oaks that uprooted. Insurance won't pay to remove the trees. We have to do that on our own. At least we'll have lots of firewood for this winter.

Halloween and Christmas are the two holidays that I go all out for. I had just began to get out the Halloween stuff and put it out when we had to evacuate. We'll probably just have enough time to get a couple of pumpkins and carve them. Which is fine with me. :-) Can't have Halloween without pumpkins. The kids have their costumes and we're still planning on going to the festival the school and town has every year. Its a great festival, full of fun things to do for every age. :-)

The novella is coming along rather smoothly, thankfully. Also, I'm nearly done with one website, and I began working on my new business web design site as well. It should be up and running very shortly. I'll post the link when its ready. :-)
