Hurricane Rita
Well, if any of you have watched the news, you've seen the next big one headed my way...Rita. They are predicting her to hit at or near Galveston which is about 90 minutes from my house. So, we aren't taking any chances.
I'm gathering all of our paperwork (insurance documents, birth certificates, social security cards, etc..), photo albums, clothes and the rest today. I also have to take pictures of every room in the house just in case we come home to find something destroyed.
We'll either leave this afternoon or tomorrow morning and head to Dallas or Austin to stay with my brother or my husband's brother.
If you have to evacute as well, God Bless and stay safe.

We are doing the same. Since we are still in the hotel, we don't have so much to pack up.
