February Interview - Day Three

Wow this week is flying by. I think Ahryn is a big hit. :)

DG: Sorry for the late start, Ahryn. This morning has been crazy.

Ahryn Don't worry. I occupied my time in Scotland.

DG: Scotland? What were you doing there?

Ahryn: I love the old faires they have. The jewelry being sold is mostly replicas of Celt jewelry, but every once in awhile I'll find an authentic piece.

DG: Most don't realize the significance between the Celts and the Fae. Would you explain.

Ahryn: The Celts got their love of the intricate knotwork from us. The Fae gave the ancient people weapons, clothing and even jewelry. As a form of gratitude, the Celts copied the Fae designs, but as they progressed they developed their own design, which I personally find fascinating.

DG: So did you find any jewelry at this faire in Scotland?

Ahryn: I did. An authentic piece that is now safely tucked away.

DG: ::laughing:: All right. On to our first question. This is from Amanda. She would like to know if given the chance what you would say to Lugus?

Ahryn: ::taps finger on chin:: Hmmm. A very good question, Amanda. Actually, there is so much I would like answered that its difficult to find the first question. I would most likely ask him why he's no longer living with his people.

DG: I think I'd like to listen in on that conversation. Do you recall what he looks like?

Ahryn: Nay. He was banished from the Fae realm to live in the Realm of Shadows for all eternity because it was believed he killed his father.

DG: You sound as though you don't believe that.

Ahryn: ::sighs softly:: The one thing I've learned is that no one, and I mean no one, has ever returned from the Realm of Shadows. How Lugus survived millions of years there only to break free is a wonder. It would take someone with great powers or someone who wanted revenge for being wrongly accused.

DG: So you believe him innocent.

Ahryn: ::shrugs one slim shoulder:: I don't really know. He isn't spoken of in my realm. His brother, King Theron, at one time held much hate for him. Lugus name was never spoken because of that hate. But, recently, something has happened. I've heard the king not only speak of Lugus, but say his name as well.

DG: A mystery then.

Ahryn: :: tilts head to the side:: You know the answers don't you? I could delve into your mind and read your thoughts myself.

DG: ::grins:: You could try, but Aimery showed me how to block my thoughts.

Ahryn: Do not fret, Donna. I will find the answers to my questions. I know Lugus is somewhere in your realm. I will search every continent, search every time until I find him.

DG: What if he doesn't wish to be found?

Ahryn: ::hesitates as she thinks over question:: I cannot explain my fascination with him. Maybe its because he's kept such a secret in my realm, maybe its because I've seen the way the king has changed towards him, or maybe its my own curiosity but I do want to find him. If I do nothing more than look at him, it will be enough.

DG: You're certainly tenacious enough to find him.

Ahryn: Oh, I will find him.
