Moira and Dartayous Interview - Day Two
Its day two of the four day interview with Moira and Dartayous from Highland Dawn
DG: Good morning, Moira, Dartayous. Thank you for coming again. We got several emails with the same questions, Moira. The readers want to know what its like to have the power over wind.
Moira: Since I've always had the power, I suppose that sometimes I take it for granted. Being a Druid Priestess, you learn to harness any feelings of power you might have just because the Fae bestowed a powerful gift upon you. However, to feel the power flow through my body and to watch the wind that I control is a heady feeling.
Dartayous: I've seen and experienced first hand the power that Moira holds, and it would have been very easy for her to take that power and use it for herself. But she never has. Her powers are used to aid those in need and to defeat evil. The Fae chose wisely when they picked Moira and her sisters for such a heavy responsibility.
**Moira leans over and kisses Dartayous**
DG: **clearing throat** Ok. Moving on to the next question. This one is for you as well, Moira. Readers would like to know why the Druid's had to go into hiding.
Moira: **sighs** Most people believe that Druids are pagans. And those that believe that magic isn't natural assume that we must be evil. Druids believe in God, but we take it a step further than most people in that we hold sacred the elements that make up our realm - wind, water, fire and earth. We recognize the strength of the trees, the pull of the moon and the power of the sun. We acknowledge all of this and bring it into our lives.
It is sad to have seen my Druid brothers and sisters running for their lives because people with tiny minds cannot accept what is before them. I hope to see that one day the people of this realm realize what they have and stop destroying the very place that gives them life.
DG: You feel very strongly about this.
Dartayous: All Druids do, as do the Fae. Imagine what this realm would be if the Fae hadn't left and took their magic with them. It would be an entirely different place.
DG: Hmmm. I think I'd like to see what it would have been like.
Moira: Earth does still house magic. Love is magic - its immortal.
DG: **furiously writing Moira's quote** I'm going to have to use that in a book. That was great, Moira. Anything else you'd like to add?
Moira: Not today. Dartayous and I must see to our duties. We'll be back tomorrow with more answers. I took a peek and spotted one that I cannot wait to respond to.
Dartayous: It better not be the one about Lugus.
Moira: Stop growling, my love. He's a changed man.
Dartayous: **snort**
DG: I'll see you two tomorrow!!
Wow. They had some really great responses. The questions that have come in have been really great. Thanks for the terrific response. Since I can't hold Dartayous here for very long, I'm having to only give a few questions a day. So, keep them coming!
And remember, to be entered into this week's contest, respond to the blog and you just might win a box of decadent Godiva chocolate!!
