Back Home

I'm finally home. Well, I got home yesterday, but as usual I had a nasty case of air sickness, so after lunch and a short visit with my folks, I vegged on the couch while the kids crawled all over me and my husband rubbed my tired feet. :)

This morning I woke up and was nearly drowning in all the emails, but now I'm finally caught up. I'm uploaded the pictures from RT but haven't yet got them all on my website. Until I do, I thought I'd post a few here.

My first booksigning!

Considering it hadn't come out in print yet, I sold many more than I anticipated, which my publisher was surprised and thrilled to discover. My Pink Romance Basket was given away at the signing and was a big hit. I mean, who doesn't like rose petals, champagne, chocolate, massage oil and a great book? :)

My Red Romance Basket was an even bigger hit. I have a picture of me and the winner at Club RT that will be posted on my website.

As I posted in an earlier blog, NCP surprised all their authors by inviting a few of the cover models down to RT to help promote NCP and the new Harmony line. Let me tell you, it worked. Our guys were the friendliest and best looking there!

But the best news besides meeting readers who had read my books was learning the NCP is offering me contracts on my Shield Series. It really made my day!!

Thanks, Mel!

Yes, I had a basket at my signing table, but I had already given it away when you got there. :(
